About Our Church
We are a nondenominational church located in Raleigh, NC, and we exist to practice the way of Jesus together.

For us, this means that we are striving to become a community of people who embody what we call the seven marks of a disciple: identity in Christ, the lifestyle of Jesus, responsiveness to the Holy Spirit, engagement in biblical community, service to others, proclamation of Jesus, and making disciples.

Guided by the values of Jesus, People, and the Kingdom of God, we desire to be a community shaped by steady faithfulness, formed deeply one day at a time for a lifetime, and rooted in the conviction that we are part of a story far more beautiful and lasting than our own.

The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Community Pastor to lead and shape two vital areas of our church’s life: biblical community and local mission. This is a pastoral and strategic role, focused on cultivating spiritual formation, relational connection, and service among our people.

At Seven Marks, we believe disciples are formed over time through intentional community and purposeful presence. This role helps lead our church in living out Mark #4: Engaged in Biblical Community and Mark #5: Serving Others.

You’ll oversee our critical elements of our discipleship pathway, including pastoral care and oversight of our 30+ Community Groups, courses and classes that support our values and seven marks, and our pastoral oversight of our outreach partnerships engaged in serving the poor, widow, orphan, and sojourners of our city. The right candidate will be passionate about helping people take meaningful next steps in both relational discipleship and local mission. You’ll lead servant leaders, develop sustainable systems, and shape the culture around these core expressions of our church’s life.
