You by Design, Part 1

Things go better for us in just about every area of life when we have a design to follow. To God, human beings are a masterpiece of great worth and value – including you. God created you with intention, thought, care, and, above all, love. We believe it is essential to understand that your identity is found in Christ. It is the first of the seven marks of a disciple, and it is the project that will occupy our attention for the next six weeks as a church family.

Romans 5:6-8
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrated His own love for us in this: While we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.

You and I can’t truly know God apart from Jesus.

Entering into a relationship with Jesus is not the same as walking in relationship with Jesus.

So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God’s law; but I see another law at work in me, waging war against the law of my mind and making me a prisoner of the law of sin at work within me. What a wretched man I am! Who will rescue me from this body that is subject to death? Thanks be to God, who delivers me through Jesus Christ our Lord!
