April 6-14, 2024

We are so excited to announce our first-ever Serve the City Week. Over the last several years, we’ve been building partnerships with organizations in our city, and you have been supporting them with your time, talents, and resources. Now, our prayer is to mobilize our entire church family to go out and serve around our city in the second week of April. There are two ways you can participate:

Give of Your Time

Below, you will find all of the opportunities that you can get hands-on and serve with one of our City Partners.

Give of Your Resources

We know that time is a precious resource and one that you may not be able to give during this week. Each of our City Partners have on-going needs and we want to be able to continue to support them financially. If you feel led to support them financially, you can do that through our website and we will make sure that your gift is used to help people in our city.

If you have questions, email us at info@sevenmarkschurch.com.

Our City Partners

People in the Margins

CLI Book Packing

CLI Prison Alliance’s mission is to glorify God by sharing His love with the imprisoned. Their goal in 2024 is to receive and ship 20,000 Bibles to prison facilities. We will be sorting and packing books to send and get into the hands of inmates in prison across the nation.

Habitat for Humanity

April 12 from 2-5p

RDC provide 30,000 pounds of food a week to local communities through their Food Warehouse. They will need help sorting food and packing grocery bags for our outreach ministries.

April 11 at 10:45a

Every week we supply free groceries to help meet a physical need in local communities, but most importantly it is a tool for us to be able to build relationships and share the gospel. We need your help in getting the free groceries out to local communities to meet practical needs and build relationships.

Adopt-a-Block is event where we knock on doors, provide groceries for households, pick up trash, play with children, and have intentional Gospel conversations. RDC’s Adopt-A-Block program provides over 10,000 pounds of groceries each month at no cost to under-resourced communities.

Women in Crisis

Love Life Prayer Walk

Love Life partners with thousands of believers from local churches and community leaders for weekly prayer walks outside local abortion centers. Each prayer walk consists of a time of prayer, worship, testimonies, the “tragic truth,” and an opportunity to connect with Love Life ministries. This is not a protest but a time of prayer and worship.

Children in Need

Sunday, April 14 from 2:30-4p in Cary

Friends and family are a huge asset in parenting a child with a disability/autism. WWWYW provides Parent Chats that are a great opportunity for parents to discuss how they have built/are building/plan to build a system of support for their child. We need volunteers to help as needed for these meeting times.

We Will Walk With You YASS! Event
Wednesday, April 10 from 6-7:30p in Cary
Sunday, April 14 from 2:30-4p in Cary

For too many teens and young adults with a disability or autism, there’s not enough “us” in each week. Isolation and loneliness takes a toll on the individual and the caregiver. WWWYW’s YASS! programs provide a space where friendships can be made, fun activities can be explored, and a sense of belonging can emerge. We need volunteers to help manage the room and behaviors as we play games.

We Will Walk With You Volunteer Orientation

If you would like to learn more about volunteering with WWWYW and working with children, teens, and adults with a disability, this volunteer orientation is a great place to start.
