At Seven Marks we strive to love and support families who are making a difference in a child’s life—Whether they are caring for a child temporarily or for a lifetime, we desire to provide a care structure to assist families in their calling. Below you will find a list of upcoming opportunities where you can get involved. Our staff and City Champions are here to help you. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to us.

Upcoming Opportunities

Foster Care Gift Card Drive
May and June

During May and June, as a church family, we will be collecting gift card donations to support our Foster Closet.

The Foster Closet is a free resource to support children in need in Wake County. The closet provides clothes, shoes, toys, baby/toddler items for foster families, kinship placements, and bio families in need. But there are times where we may not have the specific item a family is looking for, so we want to be able to provide them with gift cards that they can use to pick up those items.

We invite you to purchase gift cards from Walmart, Target, or Amazon in an amount between $10-50, and drop them off in the lobby on a Sunday morning.

Sponsor a Foster Family
May and June

There are many families at Seven Marks who are currently fostering kids. Fostering kids of any age is a significant commitment, and it takes a “family” of people to do it effectively.

We are inviting people at Seven Marks to partner with these foster families. Partnering involves committing to pray, encourage, check in on, and assist when possible.

If you’re interested in supporting a foster family in this way, please stop by the table in the lobby on a Sunday morning to learn more!

Foster Closet
June 3, June 10, and June 24

We invite you to pick a Saturday morning in May and June and serve at our Foster Closet. With items coming in and leaving out from the Foster Closet, there is constant sorting and organizing to be done. Come hang out with other volunteers and have the opportunity to meet families in our city that are currently fostering.
