Wake Up and Read Program
Weekly

The Wake Up and Read Program is designed to engage and educate our community about the importance of childhood literacy and to increase access to literacy resources and opportunities for all children. They are in need of volunteers to prepare books and materials for distribution.

The Diaper Train
Weekly

The Diaper Train provides diapers to low-income families in Wake County, improving the lives of babies and toddlers. The program is run by volunteers and serves 1,000 individual children each month. Volunteer opportunities include diaper packaging, packing donation bags, and facility/grounds projects.

Neighbor2Neighbor
Weekly

Neighbor to Neighbor’s mission is to reverse the effects of poverty through mentoring relationships that focus specifically on education, development, and spirituality. It takes over 300 volunteers each year to make Neighbor to Neighbor. They are looking for individuals who would like to help with mentoring and tutoring.

Note in the Pocket
Weekly

Note in the Pocket provides quality clothing to homeless and impoverished children and families with dignity and love. There are a variety of ways that you can partner with us to help improve the life of someone less fortunate: clothing processing, administrative tasks, clothing request delivery, donation pick-ups, or their mobile volunteer program.

Learning Together
Weekly

Learning Together’s super-inclusive environment aims to reduce inequities in early childhood education by addressing several contributing factors including issues stemming from race, socio-economic status, and disabilities. They offer volunteer opportunities year-round and work to ensure opportunities are beneficial to Learning Together and meaningful for volunteers.

We Will Walk With You has been established to meet families of children with developmental delays where they are, help them find a clear path forward, and walk with them along their paths. They serve families in and around Wake County.

Seven Marks has been partnering with Raleigh Dream Center several years. We worked with them throughout the COVID-19 pandemic in providing food and distributing food at a few outposts in our county.

Seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities and hope. Seven Marks has partnered with Habitat of Wake County for several years to provide homes for people in our community.
