Selfless, Part 3

Most of us are pretty good at serving certain kinds of people, but what about people who aren’t like us? It’s not that we don’t necessarily love these people; it’s just that we are much better at loving them from a distance. Followers of Jesus are called to a different kind of life that demonstrates the gospel to others, especially those left behind or cast aside into the margins of society.

Deuteronomy 7:6-8
For you are a people holy to the Lord your God. The Lord your God has chosen you to be a people for his treasured possession, out of all the peoples who are on the face of the earth.
