Thank You Jesus for the Blood
Bigger Than I Thought
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened. And I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
A twenty-four hour time period set aside weekly to stop, rest, delight, and worship.
“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of Egypt, out of the land of slavery.”
It is for freedom’s sake that Christ has set us free.
So then, there remains a Sabbath rest for the people of God, for whoever has entered God’s rest has also rested from his works as God did from his. Let us therefore strive to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by the same sort of disobedience.
We often mistake entertainment for rest.
“If a thing is worth doing, it is worth doing badly.”
1. Calm down.
2. Stop worrying.
3. Get some rest.
