In the Fullness of Time, Part 7

IN THE FULLNESS OF TIME
Love
December 24, 2025 | By Paul Crouthamel

Christmas is more than a moment—it’s the declaration that God’s love moved toward us. In the final message of our In the Fullness of Time series, Pastor Paul invites us to slow down on Christmas Eve and behold the relentless love of God revealed in Jesus. A love that doesn’t wait for us to get it right, but pursues, forgives, and restores. Whether this season feels joyful, complicated, or heavy, this message reminds us that God sees you, knows you, and has come near to you in Christ. From the manger to the cross, Christmas tells one unchanging story: love has come for you.

MESSAGE NOTES

God is very aware of where you are, and He sees you; really sees you, that He cares deeply about you, and, whether you feel like it or not, or find it hard to believe or not at all, He has a relentless love toward you.

Genesis 3:9
‘Where are you?’

Where are you?

Humanity is broken and continues to run from God, but God remains faithful and consistent in His pursuit of him.

Christmas is the moment when God’s relentless love comes crashing in, changing everything, in the person of Jesus.

Isaiah 9:6
For to us a child is born, to us a son is given,

Luke 1:32
You will conceive and give birth to a son, and you are to call him Jesus. He will be great and be called the Son of the Most High.

Matthew 1:20,21
Joseph, Son of David, do not be afraid to take Mary home as your wife, because what is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit. She will give birth to a son, and you are to give Him the name Jesus, because He will save his people from their sin.

Romans 5:6-8
You see, at just the right time, when we were still powerless, Christ died for the ungodly. Very rarely will anyone die for a righteous person, though for a good person someone might possibly dare to die. But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

1 John 4:10
This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.

Psalm 103:14
For He knows how we are formed, He remembers we are dust.
